POST FROM HIDDEN VIENNA

Before the book opens, the first letter arrives.

A twelve-month physical literary correspondence from the quieter rooms of Vienna, planned as a paid annual subscription.

Each month, a letter will arrive in the post from the world of The First Whisper, beginning with Christoph, a fourteen-year-old apprentice gardener at Schönbrunn in 1777.

A letter from inside the story world

Post from Hidden Vienna is not a newsletter, a souvenir, or an ordinary subscription box.

It is a physical correspondence series from Vienna: quiet, literary, atmospheric, and story-led.

The first annual series, The First Whisper Letters, will unfold over twelve months. Each envelope will come from a character connected to The First Whisper and the wider Understanding Vienna world.

The Forgotten Gardeners of Schönbrunn Palace: Eighteenth-century-style garden tools, notebook, and sketches on a wooden worktable.

The first letter begins with Christoph

The first letter is expected to come from Christoph, a young apprentice gardener at Schönbrunn in 1777.

Later letters may arrive from other voices connected to the story world, including Lena, Kathi, Herr Matthias, Joseph II, Maria Theresia, Franz Boos, Johann Kaspar Vogl, Pater Gregor, and others.

The first launch will focus only on The First Whisper Letters.
Other correspondence series may come later.
